Just Keep on Walking… It’s As Easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1 - Continue to Sacrifice.
God has taught us how to really sacrifice over the past three years. Many of us have put the purchase of new homes and autos on hold. We have cut back or eliminated the lattes, the weekly movies, the weekly hair appointments, and daily meals at the restaurant. Further, we have learned that such sacrifices are a small price to pay to see lives changes and a city transformed. Continue your sacrifice, for in doing so, you are investing in the lives of future ROCK members.

Step 2 – Continue to Pray.
What we have accomplished has not been achieved by mere human intelligence, strategic planning, or extreme business savvy – but it was God’s favor and His supernatural hand moving in our situation. This is not a natural battle that can be fought in the flesh – it is a spiritual battle that must be fought in the spirit through prayer. We absolutely cannot take this final step without our members doing constant warfare in the spirit, so stay on your knees!

Step 3 – Continue to Pledge.
After praying about the Final Step that God is leading you to take, do the following:

1. Determine God’s Will concerning the commitment He is leading you to make. Use the Family Conference Guide, which you will receive shortly.
2. Fill Out Your Commitment Card with the amount of the initial cash gift offering you will give. Then, using the giving chart on your commitment card, write down the amount you commit to give in faith from March 2009 through December 2009.
3. Bring Your Commitment Card as an act of worship on that day. If you cannot attend that day, please mail or bring your commitment card to the church office.
