Get in SHAPE for Ministry!
Members desiring to participate in standing
volunteer activities must complete the ROCK Training Camp (RTC) new member
process before becoming engaged in any ministry activity that causes them
to miss any portion of the worship service. After RTC, members will be
asked to complete a SHAPE assessment which assists members in discovering
which ministry areas their spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, passions,
and experiences would best suit them for. After SHAPE results are returned,
our Volunteer Ministry coordinator will recommend ministries and ministry
roles that will allow members to maximize their spiritual gifts for the
work of the Kingdom.
Once assigned to a ministry and a ministry role, each member will have
the opportunity to "test drive" the ministry role for at least
30 days to determine if the position is a good fit. If not, we will assist
each member, through trial and error, in determining his or her niche
in ministry so that each member's spiritual gifts may be maximized to
the fullest!
